The May Salon is to be held at The Knolls, 2201 Old Cheney Road, on Tuesday evening, May 20th this year. With a growing membership, we are anticipating a greater attendance with an opportunity to meet our newer members and potential members!
As we are planning a full program, we will have a social time for viewing the prints entered in competition, and visiting with members, new members, guests and friends from 5:30-6:30 (doors open at 5:00), with dinner at 6:30 p.m. Our Annual Meeting, with voting for officers will be at 7:30, when we will also review our 75 Years of Photography.
The program of the evening will be presented by Dr. Ken Dewey, Professor, School of Natural Resources, UNL. He will share with us his experience with “Photography as a Major Activity in My Career and My Personal Life". Dr. Dewey is a dynamic, fast-paced person who sweeps one along in his enthusiasm for experiencing life!
Dinner will be a buffet with five choices of entrée, nine salads, plus many side dishes, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages (bar service available on a cash basis). The cost of dinner is $18.50 per person, including tax/gratuity, and should be paid to Karen Harris by May 15th, along with payment of your $25 dues for 2008.
