Darrell's Message for June |
It is both an honor and a challenge to help move LCC forward during the 2008-2009 “club year”. It’s not easy to follow in the footsteps of our recent presidents so I won’t try to do so. Rather, I’ve ask them to get behind and give a push or a swift kick as the occasion dictates. Undoubtedly, both will be needed as the year moves along.

Busy Times! Fun Times!
As I write, I am anticipating attending our workshop on Saturday. I’m sure that after hearing Jeff Morgan, we will all come away with more photo skills than we now possess! We owe a debt of gratitude to Leland Osten and his committee, Glen Emswiler, Donna Gustafson and Dennis Gaibler, for all the work they have done in the last several months, getting this high-quality workshop organized and ready for presentation. They have our appreciation! |

Our esteemed Bulletin Editor, Jim Atkins, has determined that the year 2008 is the 75th Anniversary Year for The Lincoln Camera Club, having been organized in 1933. Not only should we celebrate, we should let the world know we are celebrating! What an opportunity to get the word out about the great skills and activities of our organization! |
