9:00am - Improve Your Photography with Jeff Morgan
Discover the basic skills of photographic composition in order to elevate an ordinary shot into an extraordinary one. This workshop is about seeing. Not just looking!
If you know your camera controls and have mastered the technique to get a clear, well-exposed image but want to take the next step and turn images into stunning photographs, this is the workshop for you.
Learn how to bring together subjects, lighting, color, depth of field, timing, speed, focal length, camera angle, and design elements to produce images that make powerful statements.
Whether taking pictures of people, place, or things find out how framing, subject placement, use of space, and design elements can be used to convey message and storytelling in images.

1:00pm - Creative Photography
Take your photography to the next step and try some creative techniques. Look at the equipment required and techniques that are used and try out the digital workflow required to produce results. Walk on the wild side and see if one of these creative techniques can motivate you. Plenty of time for questions.
- Basic skills of digital panoramic photography
- High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging
- Digital infrared
- Imaging techniques such as joiners, time lapse, light painting, helicon focus, and stacks

About Jeff Morgan:
Jeff Morgan is a native of Wales who has lived in the United States for over 15 years. Born in a small coalmining village in South Wales he spent his early years exploring the beauty of the country side that surrounded him. Jeff’s interest in photography dates back over 30 years when he learned the basics of photography through books, camera clubs, and practicing with his first SLR, a Canon FTb-n.
25 years of experience as a computer engineer has allowed Jeff to develop and market hardware and software and provide technical training seminars and workshops in a global market.
Jeff has been studying and practicing digital photography since before he was able to purchase Adobe Photoshop version 2 for PCs! He is working hard to keep up-to-date with the latest equipment, software, and technical understanding.
Jeff is an accomplished professional who combines technical understanding, problem-solving abilities, training effectiveness, and relationship-building to help clients understand, apply, and use digital photographic techniques and tools to create high-impact images that communicate effectively.
